Navigating our event console
How do I connect with a specific attendee?
Click the green “Community connection” button, then scroll through the attendee list or search by first name or company to find the attendee you want to connect with. Click the “+” button to learn more about an individual person and send them a direct message via the console.
How do I connect with a Deloitte presenter?
There are two ways to connect with a presenter:
- Option 1: Find the speaker in the attendee list within the “Community connection” section of the event platform and message them via the “Send message” button.
- Option 2: Let us know you want to hear more from a speaker by sending us a message via the “Connect with us” form. Indicate what you’re interested in, and we’ll put you in contact with the right person.
How do I connect with a Deloitte subject-matter specialist?
Scroll to the bottom of the main lobby page and submit your information and question via the “Connect with us” form. We’ll be in touch shortly.
How do I know if another attendee has tried to connect with me directly via the event console?
Click on the envelope icon at the top-right of the event console to view any messages you’ve received (and sent).
How do I join a session?
Navigate to the “Agenda” section of the event platform. Click the “Join” button to join a live session. You can also view the full conference program or join a session you did not select during registration by clicking the “Full agenda” tab. All sessions are hosted via Zoom.
I can’t remember which breakout sessions I signed up for. Where can I find this information?
You will find your custom agenda for each day of the conference under their respective date tabs within the “Agenda” section of the conference platform. The sessions listed are the ones you selected during the registration process. You can also view the entire conference program or join a session you did not select during registration by clicking the “Full agenda” tab.
I want to join a session that I did not sign up for during registration. How can I do this?
You can view the full conference program or join a session you did not select during registration by clicking the “Full agenda” tab. On the “Full agenda” tab, click the “Join” button to join a live session of your choosing.
Technical issues
I’m having technical issues. Who can help me?
Please click the “Support” tab at the bottom of the event console to get in touch with our live support/help desk so they can assist you.
I can’t hear anything.
Please ensure that your speakers are switched on and turned up on your audio device. If you are using headphones, try unplugging these and checking if audio resumes. If you continue to have audio concerns, please get in touch with us via the “Support” tab.
I’m having video issues.
The most common cause of video issues is a poor internet connection. If you are on a Wi-Fi connection, please try switching to a hardwired connection. If this does not solve the issue, please try tethering to, or streaming from, your mobile device. If this solves the issue, then the concern is likely due to Wi-Fi connection. If you continue to have video concerns, please get in touch with us via the “Support” tab.
General and other
Can I access this event console after the formal conclusion of the event?
Yes, you’ll be able to access the console for up to two (2) months after the event (using your same login credentials) in order to view session recordings, access the digital library, or connect with other attendees and Deloitte presenters.
